Connect To Your Opportunity:

Your role will focus on helping our internal teams develop solutions which support our practitioners to support our clients. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers and Testers across the whole product lifecycle. You will provide technical direction to other team members and deliver high quality, valuable software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of a small team of developers, with a focus on supporting personal development
  • Leading full lifecycle application development using various programming languages and technologies
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the product lifecycle to enable delivery of solutions from concept through to delivery and continuous improvement
  • Accountable for maintaining systems to required SLAs, liaising with the wider Deloitte team to implement global standards and security controls
  • Working collaboratively as part of an empowered agile team, delivering value early and often
  • Supporting and working within a culture of continuous improvement
  • Guiding, mentoring and unblocking team members
  • Ensuring code adheres to defined quality and security standards

Connect To Your Skills And Professional Experience:

  • You love nothing more than connecting people to delivery outstanding results. You bring out the best in your team and work closely with stakeholders to understand and meet their business objectives.
  • Experience leading a technical team
  • Application development experience in at least one of the following: NET (C#), JavaScript/TypeScript, Python
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as SCRUM
  • Ability to perform code and design reviews
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, GitHub or other Application Lifecycle Management tools
  • Experience of secure coding practices, tools and guidance such as OWASP
  • Exposure to Cloud (Azure/AWS) is advantageous
