The PACS business is highly visible and one of our most significant portfolios within HID Global. The PACS products include smart cards, mobile access and identifications, software, services and controllers for physical access control.

As Our Fimrware Integration Engineer You’ll Support HID’s Success By: 

  • Integration and adaptation of existing product firmware designs into new hybrid products to meet business marker needs.
  • Design & Implementation of embedded firmware and test solutions primarily in C.
  • Working in a small team environment locally and across team / multi-site projects locally & internationally.
  • Ability to complete design related tasks with limited supervision.

What We Will Love About Your Background:

  • Good knowledge of low level development languages (such as Embedded C & RTOS)
  • Able to use standard development software: debuggers, editors, compilers
  • Able to use standard equipment: oscilloscope, multi-meters, logic-analyzer, power supply
  • Able to understand FW / SW development process
  • Ability to work to code guidelines and standards.
  • Experience working with version control systems, Mercurial/Git.
  • Comfortable at working at low level (e.g. GPIO, UART)

Your Experience And Education Include:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on embedded development experience
