Green Willow Funerals is seeking a new Managing Director who will find professional fulfilment in making a meaningful impact on families during their time of need.
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively balance the commercial success of this established organisation, which has supported thousands of families in Cardiff and Newport since 1997, with its social mission as a trust-owned business supporting local charities.
Reporting to the Chair of the Board, the Managing Director will be responsible for strategic planning, financial management, and directing and overseeing the company’s operations and culture. You will possess strong business acumen and a values driven approach, capable of crafting robust strategies, setting achievable goals, and innovating the company’s services.
Collaborating closely with the Board, the Managing Director will retain a constructive working relationship with the 1910 Trust - Green Willows’ charity owner - and ensure that working practices are undertaken in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding.
The successful individual will be a skilled and inspirational leader to drive the future growth of the business and enhance its market positioning.
Ultimately, you will inherit a thriving business, with an opportunity to shape community initiatives supported by the 1910 Trust.
