I am delighted to bring to market this unique opportunity for a Quality Engineer based in Cwmbran. You will be working for a company recognised as a global player in providing a unique and bespoke technology to the Aerospace Industry. Duties and responsibilities

• Generation and completion of AS9102 FAIRs.
• Maintenance of registers, logs, and accuracy.
• Deputising for the Senior Quality Engineer.
• Identify root cause and analysis for Quality issues, using statistical techniques and tools.
• Management of Quality expectations (both internal and external) providing standards, clarity of requirements and investigations.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, geometrical tolerancing identifying key characteristics and ensuring the process has captured these.
• Carry out audits on internal systems and suppliers, identifying issues and supporting the resolution of non-conformances within the given timeframe.
• Set internal guidelines and standards for performance levels and inspection requirements.
• Support Production requirements.

Skills, experience and qualifications required.

• Ensure work is completed to the highest standard and to Zero defects.
• Qualified in Quality Discipline e.g. minimum C&G 743 Quality Assurance, or IAQA level 4 /ONC / HNC Engineering discipline. Or Quality Management Degree or equivalent.
• Data analysis and ability to translate data into easy format for team members.
• General Mechanical & Electrical NPI knowledge.
• Use of Mathematics to analyse and present facts.
• Knowledge of at ISO9001 preferred AS9100 or similar regulatory accreditation requirements.
• Knowledge of ISO14001 Environmental standard
• Knowledge of Part 21G 2540 and Part 21J
