What You’ll Be Responsible for:

As a Cafe Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising the Front of House and Kitchen in Chef’s absence and ensure excellent customer service is delivered whilst maintaining a safe environment for all persons on site. 

Your Responsibilities Will Include: 

  • Ensuring the safety of all persons on site 
  • Ordering goods for resale, supplies from designated suppliers 
  • Maintaining upkeep of all HACCP records at all times and to the required standard 
  • Supporting the kitchen in preparing, cooking and serving meals.
  • Managing and organising café assistants to deliver high quality customer service 
  • Supervising and identifying training needs of colleagues to ensure excellent customer service 
  • Striving to develop and improve the customer experience offering 
  • Ensuring the service in the café and retail area is maintained to a high standard 
  • Engaging with customers as an ambassador of Welsh Water
  • Maintaining the food hygiene standards, upkeep and tidiness of the kitchen, retail and café, meeting room areas in accordance with Welsh Water Food safety procedures
  • Undertaking any other duties as required to meet the needs of the business

About You:

  • Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills 
  • Current Food Hygiene Level 3 minimum certification    
  • Satisfactory DBS check
  • Enthusiastic about putting our customers first every day   
  • Commercial catering and kitchen supervisory experience   
  • Catering/Retail customer service knowledge or specialism   
  • Ability to work on own initiative  
  • Commercial awareness 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
