An exciting opportunity has arisen for a casual team of Day Service Assistants based within Trecynon Day Centre, Aberdare and Cwrt Yr Orsaf Day Centre, Pontypridd. Ideally, you will have experience working within Social Care, particularly in supporting people who are living with Dementia.

Our teams endeavour to understand the specific and evolving challenges faced by older people living with complex health issues and / or dementia, utilising a feeling-centric approach. Our team must be able to provide professional and compassionate support for both the people who use our Service and their loved ones. The reasons why people attend our Day Centres are varied and sometimes complex. Consequently, it is crucial that we are person-centred, empathetic, and respectful at all times.

We are interested in hearing from people who can be flexible, dedicated, reliable, innovative and can use their own initiative. You will be provided with an induction, ongoing training, and supervision to carry out your work effectively.
