Overview

• Length: Initial 3 months

• Location: Fully remote (Initial onboarding week onsite in South Wales)

• IR35 Status: Small company exemption

My client is an innovative energy and EV company looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in rotating machinery to support finalising current iterations and next iterations of designs for an electric motor.

Requirements:

• 3D CAD experience - (Ideally Solidworks)

• Mechanical analysis - FEA

• Experience with high speed rotating assemblies, rotating machinery or parts is fundamental

• Any further experience with the following is welcomed:

  • Electric motor design

  • Machining

  • Cooling fluid

  • Sealing

The client falls under the small company exception for IR35 purposes and so determination is at the contractors discretion.
