Job Description

RPS is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead our leakage detection contract in Southwest Wales. This key role combines commercial and operational oversight to ensure successful delivery of all contract objectives while aligning with legal and client requirements and driving business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As the primary liaison with clients and a leader within the Asset Survey and Inspection team, you will ensure exceptional service delivery and efficient management of supervisors, team leaders, and field teams. You will be pivotal in providing accurate performance data and quality analysis to improve our leakage detection services.

This role demands a commercially savvy and proactive approach to stakeholder management, fostering innovation, exceeding targets, and delivering value. Strong communication and a collaborative, persuasive style are essential to drive initiatives and achieve success.

Who We’re Looking For?

  • Someone with extensive experience and professional competence ay managing at this level in a water utility service industry.
  • Having the ability to be successful in an often-unpredictable operational environment, managing and motivating high performing operational teams.
  • Experience of monitoring performance, with the ability to analyse data to identify improvements and successfully identify continuous improvement and implement change.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritising activities to ensure successful delivery, beating expectation.
  • Be very personable, with outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence client and business strategy.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft 360 Suite and Work Management Systems and applications.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject desirable.
  • Membership/ Affiliation to a relevant Chartered body e.g. ACIWEM; ACMI; ACIW desirable.
  • IOSH Leading Safely or Managing Safely or similar.
  • Full UK driving license.
