Machine Operator

1. Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Production Machine Operators to join our clients manufacturing plant in the Tredegar area.
2. You'll be responsible to Visual inspection of product working to an array of quality systems and Quality control checks to be completed on product.
3. Previous relevant manufacturing / production experience is required.

Our client manufacture and supply product across the UK, Europe and USA. They are very much considered an employer of choice within the local area. Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Production Machine Operators to join our clients manufacturing plant in the Tredegar area

Duties:

• Operating a range of production machinery and equipment
• Packing of finished product ensuring high levels of quality standards are adhered to
• Visual inspection of product working to an array of quality systems
• Quality control checks to be completed on product
• Compile and complete production related paper work
• Assisting in developing new processes and procedures
• Contributing towards continuous improvement working group activities
• Working to production targets and KPI's within a timely manner

The desired candidates will have:

• Able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules
• Must be literate, ability to read and understand batch record sheets and company procedures is important
• IT/Computer literate
• Ability to use internal systems when trained
• Previous relevant manufacturing /production experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety in the work place

Hours of work:

These roles are working on a 3 shift rotational basis consisting of days, nights and afternoons Monday - Friday.
