An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Infrastructure specialist to join our digital team that has set out an ambitious digital strategy over the next five years to deliver the very best information and digital solutions with patient care at its core.
The post holder will manage the planning, development, implementation and ongoing management of the ICT Infrastructure systems and servers in line with the strategic roadmap to ensure that the benefits of digital technologies are realised.
The Senior ICT Technical Specialist will be expected to provide an expert and effective ICT support service, predominantly in development, implementation and ongoing maintenance across a range of ICT applications and systems across Wales, including the provision of ICT support and advice to managers and users.
Working autonomously and in accordance with Trust policy, the postholder will also be expected to investigate/resolve and plan multi-faceted ICT systems, to ensure the smooth running of the trust’s ICT infrastructure. Ensuring that the integrity and performance of the infrastructure is optimised in support of clinical and business needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
