Platform Engineer

Overview
A thriving innovative South Wales technology company serving global clients entered a growth phase and now requires a Platform Engineer to join its team. This role involves working with the Platform Manager to resolve development and testing issues, support development teams, and manage CI/CD processes.

Location
Based in South Wales, we have flexible and remote working options.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate and maintain configuration and deployment systems
• Scale and support critical production systems
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
• Support AWS infrastructure for R&D and production
• Collaborate with Engineering on best practices and new technologies

Essential Skills

• 2+ years with AWS (EC2, Load Balancers, Security Groups, VPNs, VPC, S3, SQS/SNS)
• Proficiency in Windows and basic Linux services
• Understanding of CI/CD best practices

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes operations, Azure DevOps Pipelines or SQL engines, particularly Microsoft
