Job Description

Galeri Caernarfon is a not-for-profit community enterprise based in North West Wales, which makes an ongoing contribution to regenerating the image of Caernarfon through community ownership of economic assets, as well as cultural and artistic activities.

As Galeri continues to grow, they are now looking for a new Chief Executive to lead the organisation through the next stage of its development. This central role is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to steer the company's strategy, manage its operations, and work closely with the Board of Directors to shape Galeri's future. The new Chief Executive will oversee all Galeri activities, ensuring that the organisation's projects are in line with its mission and the needs of the local community.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Manage a diverse team, including directors overseeing marketing, resources, finance, creative, and human resources;
  • Play a vital role in co-ordinating new projects with the Development Panel;
  • Create and maintain effective links with the local community, other stakeholders, funders, public bodies, third sector and private companies.
  • The ability to speak, read and write Welsh is essential for this position.
