CAD Technician

1. We're looking for a CAD Technician to join our Cardiff Design Office, where you will be responsible for delivering AutoCAD and Civils 3D design components to meet established standards, schedules, and budgets across various highway design schemes and contracts.

Location: Cardiff - remote working available, with travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent Fulltime

Salary: £24.5k - £31k + benefits

Responsibilities

As a CAD Technician, you'll be working responsible for the accurate and timely completion of planned tasks to ensure that projects are delivered on time and budget

Your day to day will include:

• Provide high quality and well-structured drawings, in accordance with BIM standards, which convey the clear, concise, and relevant information
• Ensuring priorities are understood and workload is manageable through clear and regular communication with the wider team
• Raising all SHE related findings with the project teams to ensure appropriate control
• Providing advice around the practicalities of Civils 3D modelling and/or drawings within AutoCAD, including improved efficiency

What are we looking for?

This role of CAD Technician is great if you have:

• AutoCAD/Civils 3D Qualification
• Higher National Certificate (HNC) in industry relevant subject or equivalent experience
