We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemistry Production Technician to join our production team. This role involves the preparation and production of various media, including resins and sorbents, which are integral to our consumable product range.

Reporting to the Chemistry Production Manager, your work will involve:

• Prepare and produce media according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular quality checks on produced media to ensure they meet specified standards.
• Document all production activities accurately and maintain detailed records.
• Assist in the development and optimisation of formulations.
• Manual handling of raw materials, products and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and deadlines.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or production environment is preferred.
• Experience of working with chemicals of varying hazards, in accordance with strict H&S policies.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and work independently.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
