Ground Worker (Responsive)

We are a growing business at LCB-Group and we regularly secure new contracts with new and existing clients. Most of our contracts are for 4 to 10 years so we are in a position to be able to recruit good people. We are currently looking to recruit a Groundworker in an around the Cardiff area.

Ground worker required to undertake the following duties:

• Undertake full ground working duties where necessary.
• Remove and relay or lay new, flag work as necessary.
• Identify and rectify defects in groundwork as required.
• Prepare and lay new concrete paths and ramps.
• Remove and relay concrete paths and ramps.
• Prepare and lay concrete footings for brickwork.
• Renew concrete floors including excavation.
• Lift and relay/renew paving stones.
• Rake out and re-point brickwork.
• Operating machinery and plant.
• skilled in various other trade disciplines beneficial.
• Carry out routine safety checks of plant and equipment as required

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in Groundworking essential on site and domestic premises.
• Level 1 Certificate in Groundworks or Construction Skills, or a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Groundwork and General Construction desirable
• Clean current driving licence essential
• Plant Operator licence desirable
