Are you the Picasso of pillows? The Van Gogh of vases? If you can turn a room from drab to fab with just a flick of your wrist (and maybe a few Allen wrenches), then we want YOU!
We’re on the hunt for a new Interior Design Co-Worker to join our fabulous team and help us make every home as stylish as a Swedish showroom.
WHAT WE OFFER
WORKING WITH US HAS ITS REWARDS
Our co-workers bring unique ideas and talent to work every day and we offer a variety of benefits that suit their and their family's everyday needs.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
With a great deal of passion, imagination and brainstorming, we turn colours, textiles and furniture into inspiring environments that excite, engage, and convince IKEA visitors that they can do it too!
We are looking for someone who is driven to provide inspiration to our customers by demonstrating a keen eye for aesthetics supported by commercial visual competence. You should have a practical, hands-on approach to tasks by actively seeking improved methods of working in a simple, lean and cost-efficient way.
Ideally, you will have an education in interior design or a design-related subject, and hands-on experience in a related role.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
IKEA Family was launched in the Linköping store in Sweden in 1984. But the foundations, of what is today one of the largest customer clubs in the world, were set already back in 1952 when IKEA founder, Ingvar Kamprad, started the first IKEA customer club, “Silverklubben”.
Ingvar saw the importance of having an ongoing and strong relationship with IKEA customers and through the club he would communicate with them directly and learn about their needs and wants.
