We’re in search of a Senior Learning Designer who brings a blend of passion for crafting cutting-edge learning experiences, a capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment delivering to high standards, and a drive for innovation. Your role will involve designing and curating engaging learning pathways and resources, challenging the norms of traditional learning design.

In our strategic reorganisation, we’re creating a dedicated Learning Studio, adding to our team of experts. This is your chance to develop essential learning solutions across a range of departments, embodying leadership, management, wellbeing and more.

Core Responsibilities:

The main aim of role will be design impactful and engaging learning pathways and assets for the talent in our business and the leaders of the future. Responsibilities will include:

  • Curate and design learning pathways and frameworks to meet learning requirements for our colleagues across the Admiral Group
  • Present design concepts and proposed solutions to stakeholders
  • Design a blend of learning solutions  including face-to face, virtual, on-demand and digital learning assets
  • Own the design of digital assets from conception to go-live, working with a team of developers to bring storyboards alive
  • Deliver run throughs and train the trainer sessions of face to face and virtual learning assets and guide and support the team of facilitators and coaches to deliver the content
  • Quality review and test learning assets created by yourself and team members to ensure that the assets are developed in accordance to approved concepts and quality standards
  • Integrate learning measurements into the learning design of all assets and analysis learning insights to learning outcomes are met and solutions continuously improve
  • Working in collaboration with the wider team define and create new learning solutions including designing prototypes and learning assets
  • Guide, support and develop learning designers and the wider learning community as required

Knowledge, Core Capabilities And Experience:

  • Expertise in a wide range of learning approaches, design of learning assets and channels
  • A highly collaborative spirit and consistently driving for excellence
  • Experience of creating learning assets for a wider range of professionals across the financial sector or a board range of business sectors
  • Advanced knowledge of digital learning principles and practices, as well as awareness of current and future trends.
  • Lead by example, promoting a learner-centric approach and advocating for best practices in learning design.
  • A good understanding of learning and developer technologies
  • An excellent eye for detail and ability to analyse learning insights
  • A broad knowledge of applied learning science and human centric design
  • Ability to inspire and challenge all levels of staff

Support And Reporting Lines:

  • The Senior Learning Designer will report into the Learning Studio Manager
  • The Senior Learning Designer will work closely with Learning Designers, Learning Facilitators, Digital Media Developers, Learning Solution Architect, Learning Managers, Learning Support Team and Head of Talent Acquisition and Development
  • The Senior Learning Designer will also work with: People Services Business Partners, Heads of training in business functions, support business function stakeholders with learning requirements

Location:

Admiral Group have a flexible working policy with remote, office and hybrid working options. Ideally, you will be able to commute to our office in Cardiff or Swansea on a weekly basis.
