Job Description

We are recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join our successful Clinical Negligence team in Cardiff.

Please note this is a fixed-term contract role covering maternity leave until June 2025.

Supporting the wider team, we are looking for those who can produce file and telephone notes and court documents. The successful applicant will also be responsible for preparing and calculating figures for costs update letters and opening new matters. Other duties would include producing welcome packs, time recording and indexing documents. Alongside this, there will also be times where conferences with experts will need to be arranged, with booking travel/accommodation and courses for fee earners.

There will also be a billing element to the role, checking disbursements, chasing invoices and dealing with account queries.
