About The Service:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Document Management Team for a Systems Management & Development Officer to oversee physical & digital incoming and outgoing Mail. The successful candidate will work alongside the Document and Mail Room Manager assisting in overseeing the processes carried out for document control, mail room operations and to help monitor the work of the Document Management Team ensuring that all mail is processed effectively and efficiently.

About The Job:

You will support the Document and Mailroom Manager in the daily operations of document management, mailroom operation and Hybrid Mail support, working alongside a team that opens and directs mail to many departments within the authority.

You will assist with the day-to-day management of the Document Management Team, ensuring all documentation is processed to required deadlines for both physical and digital documents.

What We Are Looking For From You:

  • The right individual will have a proactive and adaptable attitude with the ability to work as part of a team and independently. You should have a desire to work in a fast-paced team environment, displaying a high attention to detail ensuring that the teams’ deadlines are met.
  • You will have experience of providing excellent customer service, work well within a team and have a flexible approach. You will have exceptional communication and IT skills, providing assistance and support to team members and other staff.
  • You must have good organisational skills, with a commitment to meeting the customer’s needs.
