RPS is seeking a skilled and motivated Area Contract Supervisor to lead our ALC Leakage services, based from our clients office in Ty Tywi Carmarthen. In this critical role, you will play a key part in overseeing project delivery, ensuring safety standards, and achieving performance targets. You will have the opportunity to shape our operational practices while maintaining strong client relationships and driving your team's success.

What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the South West Wales Project Manager and Field Team Leaders to ensure our operations meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency while achieving key performance indicators.

As the primary point of contact for clients and Team Leaders, you will drive health and safety performance through diligent risk assessments and compliance management. You’ll lead a dedicated team, ensuring adherence to approved technical procedures and our Integrated Management System, all while delivering exceptional client care and technical excellence.

Your responsibilities will include producing insightful status reports for the Senior Management Team, monitoring KPIs, and implementing strategies to enhance team performance. You’ll also analyse leakage trends, optimise efficiency, and engage in regular meetings with clients to ensure our service exceeds expectations.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • You will demonstrate a strong commitment to Health and Safety.
  • You will have a successful track record of leading a team, showcasing a strong management style with the ability to motivate, influence, negotiate, and performance manage.
  • You will exhibit a strong Customer Service ethos and a proven track record in delivering exceptional service.
  • You will have experience meeting strict client and company targets.
  • You will possess excellent IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • You will be able to work to deadlines and achieve targets consistently.
  • You will have clear and fluent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • You will benefit from a working knowledge of the Utilities and Water Distribution sectors.

Experience And Qualifications:

  • You have demonstrable experience of success in a similar environment.
  • You are computer literate in the Microsoft 360 Suite and Work Management Systems and applications.
  • You hold an IOSH Managing Safely certification or similar qualification.
  • You possess a full UK driving licence.
