We are recruiting an Assistant Team Manager to hold a small, complex caseload and fulfil the supervisory role to a limited number of Social Workers in our children’s social work team in Carmarthen - a busy social work team with responsibility for child protection, care experienced children and children in need of care and support.

Working in partnership with children and young people, their parents, carers and other professionals, you will practice in a person-centred and outcome-focussed way.
We are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic and energetic person who can work collaboratively and guide and motivate a team to deliver a quality service to children, young people and their families, holding social workers to a high standard of practice.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience of children’s social work practice including child protection and be able to apply legislation and guidance.
The successful applicant will have the experience, skills and compassion to build relationships with children, young people and their families, get alongside them and help them make the changes children need.
