Salary: Grade 1 - £3,246 (£11.59 per hour)

Hours: 6.25 per week (11:45am – 1:00pm)

The Governing Body of Ysgol Trefnant are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join their team and provide supervisory support to the school at lunch times.

We are looking for an individual who has the ability to secure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the mid-day break period, in accordance with the practices and procedures of the Local Authority.

Job Purpose:

Responsible under the direction of the Headteacher of the establishment or such other officer as may be designated by the authority, individually or as a member of a team, for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the mid-day break period, in accordance with the practices and procedures of the Local Authority.

Principal Accountabilities And Responsibilities:

The supervisor of the pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises may include ancillary associated duties:

For example:

  • Cleaning up spillages.
  • Ensuring tables are clean and clear.
  • Supervising washing of hands and to assist and train children in their feeding and good table manners.
  • Report all accidents to the Head or designated officer.
  • To ensure the maintenance of good order and discipline.
