Food Production Operator

1. Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Food Production Operators to join our clients manufacturing facility within the Hengoed area.
2. You're responsible to ensure that the quality of the product is of the highest standard paying particular attention to standards of the product and its packaging.
3. Previous experience within a similar Food manufacturing role would be essential.

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Food Production Operators to join our clients manufacturing facility within the Hengoed area.

Hours of work include: Days Regular - Monday - Friday 08:30am - 16:30pm

Duties of the role will include:

• Running machinery/equipment to meet targets in a busy manufacturing environment.
• To ensure that the quality of the product is of the highest standard paying particular attention to standards of the product and its packaging.
• Unload raw materials into industrialised machinery (Manual handling)
• To ensure that all necessary paperwork associated with your job activity is fully completed and signed off at the end of each shift.
• To complete production requirements as directed by the Team Leader/Shift Manager.
• Undertake any cleaning or maintenance of the production equipment as required and for which you have received training.
• Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for the smooth running of the shift and are fit for production (raw materials, baskets)
• Ensuring that all operations are performed efficiently, safely, and that all company procedures are followed & deadlines met.

Desired Criteria:

• Previous experience within a similar Food manufacturing role would be essential
• Candidates would need to be physically fit and able to lift loads up to 10KG
• Good timekeeping and attitude toward work
• Knowledge of health and safety within a manufacturing environment
