We have an exciting opportunity within our Housing department for a fixed term paid work experience as a trainee labourer within our Repairs & Maintenance Team. Our Housing department is one of the many services that keep the authority running; making sure that Powys is a great place to Live, Work, and Play. The successful individual will start a ‘paid work’ experience. As well as receiving a fantastic grounding in the industry and an understanding of how we operate, this could be a springboard into several exciting building trade opportunities in the future. As a trainee labourer you will enjoy a wide variety of tasks, working closely with more experienced professionals who will be only too happy to mentor and guide you through your qualification.

What We Offer:
Contract Hours: 37 hours, Fixed term until 31/10/2025
Salary: £12 per hour - Commensurate with current Apprenticeship Rates
