Come And Join Our Team:
Following a successful funding application an opportunity has arisen for 2 temporary Anti-social Behaviour Community Wardens to join our Neighbourhood Team dealing with Anti-social behaviour (ASB) on our Council Estates, breaches of Tenants Occupational Contracts, and dealing with illegal Gypsy and Traveller encampments.
This role is temporary working 37 hours per week, including shift work.
About The ASB Community Warden Officer:
The overall purpose of the role will be to provide a presence on our housing estates including patrolling ASB hotspot sites. You will deal with ASB issues both on our estates and ay breaches of out tenants’ contract of occupation, ensuring tenants adhere to the terms of their Occupational Contract. It will also involve dealing with ASB on our Gypsy and Traveller site, and those in the community. You will manage an agreed caseload of ASB/Occupational Contract- related issues working with the patch ASB Housing Officer.
Requirements Of The ASB Community Warden:
Knowledge of law and policy related to housing management is essential and a housing qualification or related experience would be desirable. Experience of using various tools to deal with breaches of contract as well as experience and understanding of working with the Gypsy and Traveller community would be desirable.
You will be someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality with a strong focus on customer services, attention to detail and positively contribute to the role and team you work in. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential.
The ability to travel around the County is essential, and be flexible about the need to work on a shift basis.
Welsh Language Level - Verbal: Level 3 - You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level
