Job Description

Fixed Term 12 Month: 37 hours per week

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service will be hosting the National Cadet Firefighter Games in 2025 which has led to an exciting opportunity within the Community Safety Department for the role of Fire Cadet Games Event Coordinator. This role will be based at Fire Service Headquarters, Forest View Business Park, Llantrisant and will involve working with National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) Fire Cadet Manager and a small, selected team from within SWFRS.

The successful candidate will utilise their project management experience to oversee the planning, coordination and execution of the games. They will also hold responsibility for ensuring the event runs smoothly, safely, and within budget, while delivering a memorable experience for all participants and attendees. This will include acting as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders including participants, other fire & rescue services, sponsors, vendors, and community partners.

Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential for this post.
