Job Description

The SPTS division of KLA, designs, manufactures and markets wafer processing solutions for the global semiconductor and related industries. SPTS provides industry leading etch and deposition process technologies on a range of single wafer handling platforms. End-market applications include micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), advanced packaging, LED, high speed RF device IC’s and power semiconductors. Group/Division

SPTS wafer processing solutions include market-leading silicon etch, dielectric etch, dry-release etch, PVD, PECVD and molecular vapor deposition (MVD®), available with a range of wafer-handling options applicable to R&D, pilot production, or volume production environments. SPTS is headquartered and has its main manufacturing facility in Newport, UK, with additional manufacturing in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Job Description

Working alongside our existing Procurement Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing standard process methodology in all Supply chain functions! This will include carrying out and assisting in the following capabilities and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate key stock control initiatives.
  • Handle inventory levels and purge stock process.
  • Report and demonstrate scrap / provision process.
  • Undertake problem solving and troubleshooting for Buyers and Stores.
  • Develop cost reduction initiatives via reworking Inventory.
  • Develop weekly review of ECO impact with key collaborators.
  • Work closely with business unit groups to reduce number of ECO’s that impacts the business.
  • Develop & evaluate a material cut in system to support slow moving inventory.
  • Develop good relationships with current suppliers to support the Inventory control process.
  • Summarise results in a written reports.
  • Develop and understand key KLA purchasing processes and supply chain warranty support
  • Develop continuous improvements on inventory control to run stock turns and days of inventory.
  • Report up within organisation and develop new processes to support inventory control.
  • Finish projects to completion to support ECO process.

Qualifications Summary:

  • Degree in a Supply Chain or Inventory Management category – or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in Inventory / Control management
  • Understand technical drawings – Mechanical & Electrical
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good IT Skills (minimum Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • CIPS accreditation
  • Experience in the use of ERP systems
