Assistant Youth Worker - Hub (Newtown)

1. We are seeking an individual to join our team as assistant youth worker.
2. The purpose of the role is to help the youth worker plan, arrange and run a successful youth club for young people aged 11-25, a couple evenings a week.
3. We will train you and develop your skills.

The right person will;

• Be able to build good relationships with the young people.
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Be motivated and enthusiastic
• Have an understand of the issues affecting young people.
• Willing to work evenings.

What You Will Do:

• You will assist the youth worker in the successful running of youth club.
• Have responsibility for the safeguarding and welfare of the young people.
• Assist with the planning of youth projects and activities.

Salary: JNC Points 1-4 £23,496 per annum pro rata

Contract Type: 6 hours, Fixed term until 31/03/2025 (Term time only)
