Haverfordwest High VC School is seeking to appoint a teacher with ability to teach the new health and wellbeing curriculum across the key stages. An expertise in Netball and athletics would be an advantage. This is a permanent, full time post to commence on 1st January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to deliver innovative theoretical and practical lessons around the subject, with the ability to teach traditional girls sports as well as alternative sports and PSE. This role will require the successful applicant to step beyond the traditional and work under the guidance of the Learning Manager to innovate a curriculum that excites our children and young adults to develop a healthy relationship with food and exercise. You will be supported to be innovative, creative and to make best use of the school’s fantastic facilities. Above all else, we are seeking a genuine team player who values the success of the entire Learning Areas as much as their own.
