The Ascend Data and Architecture Manager is responsible for leading the architecture development of the Ascend (delivery platforms) strategy, coordinating, and providing Global input to the respective product development teams. You will play a crucial role in acting as the Global voice in developing the cross-platform technology architecture, gathering, and analyzing requirements, managing stakeholders, and project management.

  • Delivery Platform architecture strategy: Support the development of a cross-platform technology architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and analyze requirements from Global stakeholders (e.g., hosting, data residency), translating them into technical requirements.
  • Opportunity Identification: Support Delivery platform current state assessments and identify opportunities for collaboration, design, development, integration, etc. across platforms.
  • Technical Guidance: Act as the Global conduit to the respective platform development teams across UX, Data Layer, Development Standards, etc.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build relationships, communicate effectively, and keep key stakeholders informed about progress.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on project status, key metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Project Management: Oversee project management efforts, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.

  • Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
  • Technical Aptitude: Understanding of technology platforms and their components, such as layers, modules, and interfaces, to scope and assess requirements accurately.
  • Requirements Gathering: Proven experience in architecture strategy development and requirements gathering.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess complex situations, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to provide regular updates to senior leadership, deliver presentations, and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Project Management: Ability to lead and manage a project, including setting goals, creating timelines, and tracking progress.
