VES is looking to appoint qualified Learning Support Assistants, to work in schools in the Rhondda Cynon Taf areas. The candidate needs to be hardworking and committed to their role within the classroom. Learning Support Assistants may be required to work with children on a one to one basis, as well as in small groups, so it is vital that the candidates for these roles can be open to various methods of providing support. These vacancies are to cover planned and unplanned absences such as sicknesses, maternity, paternity and courses.
All staff, temporary working and candidates must be aware of VES’ Safeguarding Policy and must follow all procedures to protect children and vulnerable adults. VES are committed to protecting children and vulnerable adults through a careful recruitment and selection process, a whistle-blowing policy and guidance on appropriate behaviour.
