We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join our busy Workshop. We are a family run, independent garage located in Penllergaer/Gorseinon.
Are you trained in City and Guilds Motor Repair/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent and are looking for a new challenge? Then we want to hear from you.
We are looking for someone that has previous experience working within an independent garage or main dealership to join a busy workshop. We work on all makes and models of vehicles and light commercial vans and motorhomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, service and repair, electrics on vehicles to the highest standard, keeping a tidy and clean working environment to adhere to health and safety policies and effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed and components utilised.
You will be required to complere all necessary paperwork in line with company policies, i.e. service sheets, window reminder stickers and job cards.
Skills Required
Full Clean Drivers licence is required for this role.
Full Time hours - 40 hours per week Monday – Friday 8:30- 5:00
We will require the successful candidate to work Saturday Mornings 8:30 - 1:00 this can be on an every other basis which is at time and half pay. Extra Saturdays may be required to meet the needs of the business.
Wages negotiable on experience, discussions at time of interview
Holidays 20 days a year plus 8 bank holidays.

We have two workshops within walking distances from one another. The MOT and Service Centre is located directly next to Poundstrecher on Goresinon Road and the Tyre centre is just up from there by the traffic lights.
We established in 2013 with just the smaller site and started to grow and needed the second site which we opened in 2015.
We specialise in servicing all makes of cars and vans and we have the latest diagnostic tools to quickly identify and resolve your vehicle problems. We stock a large amount of tyres so no appointment is necessary - just call in and we will take care of it. We offer a friendly waiting area for customers in both sites with coffee and water machines.
