Recreation Supervisor

1. Provide leadership to a team of staff in the Sports Centre coordinating their work to ensure high quality provision and experience for learners and customers.
2. Supervision of the Centre to ensure correct use of facilities are enforced.
3. We offer 28 days pro rata annual leave, plus bank holidays, and the college is closed for two weeks over the Christmas period.

The role:

Provide leadership to a team of staff in the Sports Centre coordinating their work to ensure high quality provision and experience for learners and customers.

• 37 hours per week
• 6 months fixed term
• £24,131 - £24,449 per annum
• Sports Centre, Tycoch Campus, Swansea

Key Responsibilities:

• To take responsibility for the general management of the Sports Centre in the absence of the Sports Facilities Manager.
• Responsible for the security of the premises to include unlocking and locking up at the beginning and end of the day. Handling keys and cash on the premises.
• Responsibility for the appearance of the Centre interior and exterior ensuring the centre is presentable at all times.
• Supervision of the Centre to ensure correct use of facilities are enforced

About you:

• 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) or equivalent including Maths and English
• Relevant knowledge & experience within industry
• Experience of line managing others
• First Aid
• Interest in Sport & Fitness
