Job Description

About Us

Who we are, what we do and why we do it

Capability in all its forms is distributed randomly across the population, but unfortunately, opportunities are not. That is why we are working until every young person has their chance to flourish.

We work in partnership with over 450 industry volunteers; 110 state schools and colleges; and across all of our programmes we work with 70,000 young people across England and Wales, to provide information and inspiration about the possibilities for students' education and careers, all free at the point of use.

By connecting young people and business through our national network of partner companies and industry volunteers, we deliver programmes online and face-to-face within school and industry settings, transforming the lives of young people and the opportunities for business.

You can change someone's future

Everyone’s journey can be inspiring. Share yours and help create vital lightbulb moments for young people across England and Wales.

We encourage our volunteers to share their personal stories, giving crucial inspiration to help young people see that ‘if they can do it, I can do it too’.

Providing this at key moments is critical to helping young people realise their talents.

Why volunteer with us?

  • Support and inspire the next generation to realise their full potential
  • Find and attract young talent to your business
  • Promote your industry to young people
  • A great opportunity to give something back
  • Raise your own and your company’s profile
  • Network with others from industry
