Diecasting Operator

1. CastAlum is an internationally acclaimed aluminium Diecaster, located in Mid Wales.
2. Selected candidate will be responsible for the productivity and quality within each die cast cell and for performing diverse duties in the operation of high tech production equipment.

To be responsible for the productivity and quality within each die cast cell and for performing diverse duties in the operation of high tech production equipment, to ensure high production volumes, product quality and equipment utilisation.

• Have a good attention to detail
• Work within a 5s environment and make suggestions for further improvements
• Have the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Safely operate all production equipment following set procedures and SOP documents.
• Provide appropriate assistance to others, teams, departments and the Company within your competence and skill.
• Liaise with support department teams in a timely manner for any major fault-finding issues and repairs.
• To carry out minor die cast machine, cell, die and trim equipment repairs.
• 12 hour shifts 
• 36 hours a week
• Full training will be given
• Shift premium is paid at 11% on days and 17% on nights
