Production Operator

1. Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of Production Operators to work for a highly respected, long established manufacturing company based within the Blackwood area.
2. You'll be responsible to ensure that the quality of the product is of the highest standard paying particular attention to standards of the product and its packaging.

Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of Production Operators to work for a highly respected, long established manufacturing company based within the Blackwood area.

Hours of work include:

• These roles are working on a 3 on 3 off rotational basis working 7 - 7 days and nights.
• The company offer great working environment, full time hours, permanent contacts and good industry training.

Duties will include:

• Running machinery/equipment to meet targets in a busy manufacturing environment.
• To ensure that the quality of the product is of the highest standard paying particular attention to standards of the product and its packaging.
• To ensure that all necessary paperwork associated with your job activity is fully completed and signed off at the end of each shift.
• To complete production requirements as directed by the Team Leader/Shift Manager.
• Undertake any cleaning or maintenance of the production equipment as required and for which you have received training.
• Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available for the smooth running of the shift and are fit for production (raw materials, baskets)
• Ensuring that all operations are performed efficiently, safely, and that all company procedures are followed & deadlines met.

The desired candidates will have:

• Good under pressure. Understanding of in-house systems and procedures.
• Able to work to deadlines.
• Speed, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Previous relevant manufacturing /production experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety in the work place
