Production Operator

1. Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of Production Machine Operators to work for a highly respected, long established manufacturer in the Blackwood area.
2. You'll be Monitoring / overseeing full production process from start to finish.
3. You must be able to work as part of a team and be able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules.

Focused Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of Production Machine Operators to work for a highly respected, long established manufacturer in the Blackwood area.

Hours of work / Rates of pay:

The role is working Monday-Friday on a 3 shift rotational basis.

Days - 06:00am - 14:00pm (£13.67)

Afternoons - 14:00pm - 22:00pm (£15.22)

Nights 22:00pm - 06:00am (£16.42).

Duties will include:

• Working within a process driven environment working to production KPI's & targets.
• Operating a range of production machinery and equipment.
• Operating extrusion machinery.
• Lifting loads up to around 15KG in weight whilst feeding raw material into production machinery
• Weighing of product whilst feeding correct amounts into extrusion machinery.
• Loading and unloading of product to and from production machinery.
• Monitoring / overseeing full production process from start to finish.
• Wrapping, banding and palletising of finalised product.

The Desired Candidates:

• Able to work to targets/production KPI's & production schedules.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Previous relevant manufacturing /production experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety in the work place
