Supply Chain Planner / Buyer

1. Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a Junior Supply Chain Planner / Buyer to join our clients global manufacturing plant within the Blackwood area.
2. You're responsible for Vendor Invoice management reconciliation of issues raised by account payables department in SAP. Chasing people to GR PO line items.
3. Experience working in a legislative environment and familiar working with procedures / systems is desirable.

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a Junior Supply Chain Planner / Buyer to join our clients global manufacturing plant within the Blackwood area.

Our client is a global aerospace/aviation company with sites across the UK, Europe & US.

This role is office based 5 days per week.

Duties of the role include:

• Vendor Invoice management reconciliation of issues raised by account payables department in SAP. Chasing people to GR PO line items
• MRP Scheduling
• New product development
• General conversion of requisitions to PO's, sending to suppliers
• Following up with suppliers on late delivery dates etc
• Deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements
• Ensure forecast information is correct, daily systems up-dates & Master data in Excel is correct.
• Placing orders with suppliers, ensuring deliveries are scheduled to meet production demand.
• Daily use of department KPI's to identify appropriate resource stock levels, minimising waste, and redundant stock write-offs.

• Education / experience required:
• Educated to degree level CIPS preferably (or working towards)
• Supply chain or Procurement experience
• IT literate with strong spreadsheet knowledge
• Experience working with a MRP/ERP and SAP system.
