Environmental, Health & Safety Administrator

1. Forged Solutions Group manufactures shafts, rings, discs, asymmetric forgings, blades and extruded cylinders in a range of titanium, nickel, aluminium, copper and steel alloys.
2. To assist the EHS Manager and wider business management team in developing, implementing and maintaining Health, Safety and Environmental standards throughout the site.
3. Support and advise all department managers in aspects of EHS Management and compliance.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Support and advise all department managers in aspects of EHS Management and compliance.
• Work with department managers to implement a positive EHS culture.
• Promote a proactive EHS approach/attitude among employees through engagement, explanation and encouragement.
• Assist accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing robust corrective actions.
• Assist the assessment of risk of machinery and activities including recommendations for modification.
• Assist with equipment and process design / modifications.
• Planning, preparing and conducting / assisting with internal and external EHS inspections and audits.
• Assist management in the implementation of new EHS procedures and systems.
• Monitoring and analysis of EHS data.
• Waste management and minimization processes.
• Assist in setting and monitoring KPI’s for EHS, preparing any necessary reports or documents as requested by the business.
• Delivering and assisting in training of staff as and when required.
• Liaise with contractors where required and appropriate.
• Be actively involved in any process improvement or quality investigation with regard to EHS Matters.
• Assist in compliance to all aspects of EHS including ensuring that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements are adhered to at all times.
• Undertake other tasks within capabilities, in any department across the business, as requested by your Manager .

Essential Experience / Qualifications:

• EHS Qualification (any level).
• Computer Literate.
