We are looking for someone to JoinUs as a Project Support Officer in our Justice Services Department - Could you be who we are looking for? 

About the team/Department you will be joining: 

We are a large team covering a wide range of areas of business across the force, which includes various aspects of the Criminal Justice system, the Motoring Unit and the Coroners Office amongst others.

The hours will be Monday to Friday 9-5

We are based in Porthcawl with flexibility for working remotely and from home 

About the role and your key responsibilities : 

The role will be to support and deliver a range of projects, working with external and internal stakeholders within the area of Criminal Justice.

It will be to understand, and respond to a range of national and local performance metrics, providing insights and supporting the delivery of improvement and change.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • Working with internal stakeholders in Performance and Business Intelligence
  • Preparation of reports, utilising performance data and providing a narrative and understanding into what the data means.
  • Understanding and interpreting data into meaningful reports, contextualising the information and providing recommendations for progress and improvement and when required, presenting to audiences. 

What skills and experience do we need you to bring to the role:

 The skills that we need are;

  • The ability to research, collate, analyse and disseminate information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills when briefing a large audience.
  • The ability to develop, monitor and maintain project plans, systems and procedures and maintain quality standards.
