Job Description

The post holder will work within Emotional Wellbeing & Mental Health, they will be responsible for supporting and development of new Pyscho-education offer and also Group work. Also in assisting qualified staff in carrying out comprehensive assessments of need and risk. The post holder may delegate work to others and provide teaching and running groups where appropriate.  They  will work autonomously with young people in a clinic/telephone  environment and in the community, adhering to treatment packages developed by the band 6 and 7 Specialist Nurses in adherence of agreed protocols.  The post holder will be responsible for effective communication of any changes noted of the clients, keeping the team updated regularly, and also keeping accurate and contemporaneous records.  The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed and meet the CAVUHB requirements in the Health and Safety Policy

Main duties of the job

They will also be involved with the creation and delivery of groups within the service. Organising and offering Connection Sessions with external agencies.

Also in assisting qualified staff in carrying out comprehensive assessments of need and risk. Fixed term until 31st March 2025 due to funding
