Main Purpose of Job
To form part of the staff team working together to create a safe, positive, caring, homely and well managed environment, promoting short breaks for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years who have a range of disabilities and complex need.

Carmarthenshire County Council is the local authority for the county of Carmarthenshire, Wales. It provides a range of services including education, planning, transport, social services and public safety.
The council is one of twenty-two unitary authorities that came into existence on 1 April 1996 under the provisions of the Local Government (Wales) Act 1994.
