Hours: 15 hours per week, term time only Permanent

Job Purpose:

To support and assist the Cook in Charge/Senior Cook with general catering duties to enable the provision of school meals.

Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room and storeroom as and when directed; including equipment.

Principal Accountabilities And Responsibilities:

• Support the Cook in Charge/Senior Cook with general catering duties to enable the efficient provision of school meals.
• Assist with laying tables and clearing away furniture.
• Ensure all utensils; crockery and equipment are thoroughly washed.
• Assist with serving of meals to pupils.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room and storerooms as directed.
• To respond to customer enquiries e.g. Meal of the Day, food content etc. and recommend appropriate meal choices.
• Undertake other reasonable management instructions
