An Accounts Technician is required for an independent Accountancy Practice looking to expand their existing team due to growth.

This is a varied and challenging role, where you will benefit from a professional working office with free parking and a supportive working culture. To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have gained prior accountancy practice experience and ideally be AAT qualified.

Duties and Responsibilities of Accounts Technician.

• Preparation and completion of Limited Company accounts.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Preparation of VAT Returns under different VAT schemes.
• Bookkeeping duties.
• Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients.
• Experience with Cloud based accountancy software.
• Ability to reconcile all control accounts.
• Understanding of Companies Act disclosures for Financial Statements.
• Liaising with clients via telephone and email and offering a superior customer service.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to reach team targets.
