Job Description

We are seeking Residential Support Worker to help set up our own residential children’s home within the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough. This is an exciting time to join the local authority as we begin to establish a residential arm to support some of the children and young people in our care. As a Residential Support Worker, you will be integral in providing a safe and secure environment in which our children and young people will live.

All new applicants are required to complete a 10 hour online Welsh Work Course. You will need to complete parts 1 and 2 of the course and must be able to evidence this prior to starting work with the Authority.

Essential Criteria:

You will be required to provide evidence of all qualifications specified as essential

Location: Gwasanaethau Plant / Children Services

Salary: Grade 4 SCP 13-17= £26,873 - £28,770 per annum pro rata = 94.59% - £25,419 - £27,213 per annum

Job Hours: 35 Awr / 35 Hours
