Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed School Site Support Officer for three days (Wednesday Thursday & Friday) to work in this happy and successful school and join our friendly and dedicated team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for contractors, Health & Safety and cleaning and will assume responsibility for dealing with general school maintenance and servicings.
The Purpose Of This Role:
This role is needed to maintain our vibrant learning environment both in school and in the school grounds.
Expectation And Outcomes Of This Role:
To maintain all statutory Health & Safety registers, to complete maintenance on the school buildings and school grounds, to monitor heating and water systems, to undertake cleaning of prescribed areas of the school, to control access to Harold
Road during mornings and afternoons, to undertake training as required, to support the Governing Body, Headteacher and all staff in maintaining a vibrant, exciting and safe school environment. You will need to demonstrate the ability to work supportively and effectively in a team as well as innovatively and independently.
Experience of working in School maintenance would be an advantage, though training can be provided.
