We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Head Teacher to join our Leadership Team.

The school supports a broad range of pupils with learning difficulties which include Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties as well as Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and Medical Needs. We are an inclusive and diverse community where everybody is welcomed. Pupils benefit from a bespoke curriculum with a clear focus on individual development. The curriculum at the school is balanced and skilfully adapted to meet the needs of all pupils. The provision for both pupils’ communication and physical skills development is a notable strength. The successful applicant will have substantial leadership experience in senior roles within a special school setting. As an inspiring and creative teacher and leader, you will be able to support staff to deliver a curriculum to meet the diverse needs of our learners
Alongside the Head Teacher, the Wider Leadership Team and Governors, you will be instrumental in driving forward the school’s development plan. You will also have a commitment to effective practice, championing individual pupil needs as well as modelling high expectations to staff and pupils.
