An Exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a senior planning Officer within the planning policy section.

Newport City Council is looking to recruit a Senior Planning Policy Officer within the Regeneration and Economic Development service area. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to help shape the future development of the City and play a key role in delivering the Council’s regeneration and growth aspirations as well as protecting our best historic and environmental assets.

Candidates must hold a recognised qualification in Town Planning and will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and previous experience of the planning system and planning legislation, especially in relation to planning policy.
