Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Employment Services Team who provide a comprehensive HR and payroll support service throughout the Council. Your role will include a range of duties with an initial focus on the service we provide to schools from issuing contract letters and starter packs, providing advice on policy, conditions of service and outcomes of pre-employment checks. You will also be responsible for the processing of all other new employees, terminations and contract variations into the HR & Payroll system (iTrent) and issue relevant correspondence.

You should have experience of working in a busy office environment and be able to demonstrate your skills in using computer systems and software (Excel/Word/Email). A flexible approach is essential in ensuring deadlines are achieved and our service delivery meets expectations.
